Life and Work in Vietnam are both challenging and rewarding
It was the key message delivered to participants of the two events "Teach in Vietnam: Where Life Expands" in January 2020 in Finland. Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS), opened in August 2019, is currently seeking for highly qualified Finnish teachers for their next school year onwards.
Supported by the Vietnamese Embassy in Finland, the recruitment campaign this year is highlighted by a reception at the premise of the Embassy on the 7th of January, Helsinki, Finland. It was co-organised by the Embassy and Wise Consulting Finland Oy, the main consulting partner of VFIS. VFIS is one of the biggest education projects that have involved parties from Finland and Vietnam, Madam Pham Thi Ngoc Bich, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland and Mr. Ilkka-Pekka Simila, Director General, Department of External Economic Relations, Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs delivered the keynote speeches.
School representatives, Ms. Seija Nyholm, Head of School, and Ms. Huyen Nguyen, Vice Principal; and recruitment team lead, Mr. Pasi Toiva, Managing Director of WCF shared the information about school development and recruitment campaign.
Due to many interests, a cozy meet-up between potential teachers and the recruitment team in Tampere, Finland. As VFIS will open its middle school and receive more primary students for the school year 2020-2021, class teachers and subject teachers are in demand.
